LENT
Lent is the forty days (not counting Sundays) that begins with Ash Wednesday and concludes on Holy Saturday.

The season invites us to ponder the mystery of God's choosing to abide with us. And, with further examination, to consider how we might more fully ablde with God. Namely, in the life and witness of Jesus, the Christ, God's Beloved.
As such, Lent is an inquiry into the nature and call of Christian discipleship.
