KidsZone
Child Care
Kidzone is our spiritual formation program for students in elementary school. The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a hands-on method of faith formation based on the Montessori method of learning. The learning environment is designed to make space for theological reflection. Lessons and materials in the classroom inspire meditation on particular Scripture texts or signs from the liturgy. CCUMC is using a modified version adapted to fit our community. To download a brochure follow link.

Pollinator Garden
Kid Friendly Events
We are developing a pollinator garden in front of our church. We welcome all kinds of creatures to explore our garden and enjoy the beauty of Creation. We invite you as a family to participate in our gardening days. For more information on upcoming work days see our events page.
Kids at CCUMC participate in all kinds of fun activities such as cooking, creating an obstacle course for robots, movie nights and hiking trips. In the picture above we are preparing a traditional Nepalese snack, called Chana-Chatpate. Check out our events page for upcoming events.
