Mochel Morris (Rev.) Mochel Morris is an ordained Elder in the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church. A native Texan, she moved to Richmond, Virginia at the age of 9. She took her Bachelors degree from the University of Virginia, double majoring in psychology and religious studies, and her Master of Divinity from The Divinity School, Duke University. Pastor Mochel is also qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She has earned a Doctorate of Ministry in Church Leadership Excellence from Wesley Theological Seminary. She has two sons, and a granddaughter. She uses her early morning walks to pray. When she has time and space, Pastor Mochel enjoys reading and weaving. Check out her weekly blog, God’s Weaver.
Mallory Ringenbach (Youth Ministries Coordinator) attended Brevard College in Western North Carolina where she received her B.A. in Elementary Education. Through her high school and college years, she has gained experience working and connecting with children of all ages through theatre, after school programs and childcare, volunteer opportunities, and summer camp programs. Mallory found her niche in the United Methodist Church at an early age, as a participant in weekly worship, and as an enthusiastic member of her home youth group. She hopes to help the young people of Christ Crossman navigate through the many blessings and opportunities God has to offer, and establish an enduring relationship with God and each other. “We can never be hopeless, because we can never been irreparably broken. We think that we are invincible because we are.”

Cyd Rinonos (Nursery Staff) Cyd is going into her final year at George Mason University majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Psychology. As a pre-med student, she is working toward her goal to become a Pediatric Specialist in Neurology. Says Cyd, “In my free time I hold a special place in my heart for martial arts and various fine arts. I love being active and I’m always looking forward to new experiences!”
Kate Hoing (Office Manager) Kate Hoing received her BA from James Madison University in Justice Studies, with a concentration in Global Justice. Following undergraduate school, Kate earned her MA in Global Affairs from George Mason University in December 2011. While in school, she had the opportunity to explore her interest in international and community development in both developing and developed nations.
Kate enjoys being part of a staff that is engaged with the community and actively serving others.
Maggie Hasselbach (Intern) grew up in Norfolk, VA before heading to Frederick, MD to study at Hood College, where she received a BA in History. Currently, Maggie works at George Washington University as a student services adviser. Maggie earned her Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary, and is in the candidacy process for ordained ministry in The United Methodist Church. After serving as a seminary intern with CCUMC for two year, Maggie is serving as our part-time Coordinator for Small Groups.
