Job overview and purpose

Christ Crossman UMC is looking for a talented Office Manager with skills, experience, and savvy to be the backbone of day-to-day office operations. The Office Manager is an integral team member for achieving the church mission. The Officer Manager should be a person who enjoys a variety of activities, works independently, communicates well, and successfully manages many details.

The Office Manager serves as the face and voice of Christ Crossman UMC to both parishioners and the public. The Office Manager’s primary duties and responsibilities are the successful operations and logistics of the church, bookkeeping, and communications and marketing activities. The successful candidate will enjoy having work that requires creative and analytical approaches. 

Qualifications

The Office Manager must be customer service-oriented, fluent in Microsoft Office, have bookkeeping experience, have experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) database, updating websites, and using social media, capable of multitasking, and detail-oriented. Position requires strict adherence to confidentiality guidelines, in light of access to financial records and visitations with Pastor.

Working conditions

The Office Manager is a part-time, salaried position. Position hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m, for a total of 30 hours per week.

Employee is subject to policies and procedures prescribed for all personnel.

Commensurate with experience. Benefits include 10 paid days of leave per calendar year. Access to a group medical plan is negotiable.
